Modelling of vehicle product concept and transportation systems

This project looks at complex interactions between the vehicle and transportation systems. The introduction of new propulsion and energy supply systems may lead to fundamental changes in the make-up and dependencies of these systems. This transformation, its dynamics and scales of interaction, must be better understood in order to leverage it to the benefit of society. Models are being developed in this project to synthesise such system dynamics with the aim of identifying leverage points.
