ECO2 organises new conference
The Resource Efficient Vehicles conference – rev2021 – will be held online on the 14th to the 16th. Get informed and participate!
This vehicle-centric conference aims to bring together researchers from all fields of sustainable transport research.
rev2021 will be a multidisciplinary conference with the theme: Resolving functional conflicts in vehicle design. Vehicles provide a transport solution for people and goods. In doing so, they generate many economic and societal benefits. However, they also incur many environmental burdens, such as greenhouse gas emissions, resource depletion and environmental noise. This conflict between transport provision and environmental impacts is at the heart of future sustainable vehicle design. Resolving it requires not only technological improvements of the vehicles themselves but also a rethink of the wider vehicles system. This multidisciplinary conference explores vehicles from a multifunctional systems perspective.
In addition to the technical sessions, the programme will also include keynote lectures from invited speakers .
